Bosu

 Bosu is an abbreviation for "both side up" which means that the exercises can be performed on a flat and an oblong surface of the props. Exercises can be done can be practiced supine, prone, or in kneeling position. Both practice sides are challenging and demanding when it comes to maintain neutral positions. You try to maintain balance by constantly activating the deep stabilizer muscles. This is a props that develops balance, stability and proprioception. It has a beneficial effect on injury prevention by activating deep muscles in the bones and joints, as well as proprioceptors that give you information about the movement and position of your body in space. It can be used alone or in combination with other props. It is a constant challenge for clients and they adore practising on it.
