This basic pilates equipment is metal frame shaped.There are tracks on the both sides of a reformer along which carriage (the moving part) moves back and forth. On the front side there is a padded foot bar which is used as a stabilizing factor to move the carriage and to support legs and arms. Strength is developed by stretching the different loads of straps. It improves flexibility, muscles elongate, regains body symmetry, fixes muscles imbalance, develops proprioception, balance, core stability, limb mobility. As the spring resistance increases joint durability increases. It is used in recreation, athlete condition preparations (trainings), postrehabilitation and injury prevention.
